Ethien, the legal and compliance services firm, today announced that Andrew Burgess, specialist in technology and legal services outsourcing, has joined their team as a Strategic Advisor.

Ethien is a newly-established business based in London providing advisory, managed legal services and technology to law firms and legal and compliance functions. Its leadership team come from top law firms, in-house legal teams and award-winning consulting, professional services and technology organisations. 

Andrew will provide input to Ethien’s strategy and give a market view on outsourcing and technology for Ethien’s clients.

Commenting on the appointment, Andy Loach, Ethien’s CEO said, “Andrew brings valuable know-how to the Ethien team and will be an asset to our business. His knowledge of the legal services and technology markets will be of great benefit to our clients as they develop and execute their legal strategies.”   

Andrew is a respected speaker on the legal circuit and co-author, with the London School of Economics, of ‘The Rise of Legal Services Outsourcing' (Bloomsbury). He is currently a consultant specialising in robotic process automation (RPA), AI, legal services and impact sourcing. Before that, Andrew was a Director at Source, Orbys and Datamonitor.
